- Store your journal entries and Bible notes
- Send push notifications at your preferred time (if enabled)
- Improve the App based on anonymized, aggregated usage data
3. AI-GENERATED CONTENT AND DATA SHARING WITH AI PROVIDERS
To generate personalized Athlete Breakdowns, Pregame Mode content, and Bible verse explanations, we send limited information to our AI service provider (currently OpenAI). The information shared with the AI provider includes:
- Your selected sport and season phase
- The Bible verse being interpreted
- A randomly selected scenario angle for content variety
We do NOT send the following to AI providers: your name, email address, journal entries, Bible notes, game progress, or any other personally identifiable information.
AI-generated content is provided for inspirational and informational purposes only. It is not theological doctrine, pastoral counseling, or professional advice.
4. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
We use the following third-party services to operate the App. Each service has access only to the data necessary for its function:
- Supabase: Database hosting, user authentication, file storage (AWS US West Oregon)

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. We do not share your data with data brokers or advertising networks.
5. DATA STORAGE, SECURITY, AND RETENTION
Your data is stored on Supabase servers hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the US West (Oregon) region.
We implement the following security measures:
- Row-Level Security (RLS): Database policies ensure each user can only access their own data
- Authentication: All API requests require a valid, signed authentication token
- Encryption: All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS. Data at rest is encrypted using AWS default encryption
- Rate Limiting: AI-generation endpoints are rate-limited to prevent abuse
We automatically clean up certain data to minimize storage and protect your privacy:
- Audio files: Automatically deleted after 2 days
- Devotional text: Cleared after 90 days (verse reference retained)
- Verse history: Records older than 110 days automatically deleted
- Rate limit records: Cleared daily

- Delete your data: Delete individual journal entries, clear Bible notes and bookmarks, or delete your entire account and all associated data
Account deletion is available from the Profile tab and permanently removes all your data, including profile information, devotional content, journal entries, Bible notes, bookmarks, game progress, Playbook Series progress, avatar image, and authentication record. Account deletion is irreversible.
If you have an active paid subscription, you must cancel it separately through your device's subscription settings. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel or refund your subscription.
7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The App is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
